MT Ultra celebrates their third five hour super-show with a genuine psychedelic happening. The grand salon of Toon Town Studios will play host to a madcap bacchanal of artists, musicians, cultists, occultists, hedonists, peed-on-ists, journalists, dissidents, terrorists, lethargists, and deep cover federal agents. Noise Complaint presides over the whole affair as they play their experimental, improvisational brand of psychedelic freakout noise rock live on the airwaves of 101.5 KFGM.
This week, the enigmatic and nomadic Toon Town Studios is located beneath the 13th green of an undisclosed local golf course. Any and all listeners are invited to join this orgy of excess, though of course the only way to open the entrance to Toon Town studios is to score a Hole-in-One on the aforementioned undisclosed 13th hole, so remember, choke up and follow through. Those listeners too unfortunate or uncultured to be able to join MT Ultra and Noise Complaint in person are still invited to vicariously partake in the festivities via Frequency Modulated auditory voyeurism. Listen in to the happening live on 101.5 KFGM Frenchtown. Hear Noise Complaint's disorganized fun, eavesdrop on revelers playing billiards or lounging in a Jacuzzi, perhaps even catch snippets of the notoriously Hermetic and secretive Freeman Tao, editor in chief of MT Ultra's monthly magazine as he presides over a collage session, directing a dozen eager artists to cut images out of magazines together and paste them in new and provocative arrangements, producing whacked-out collages while he threatens people's lives with scissors.
Also present at the insane Free-for-All will be MT Ultra's spiritual arm, the discordian church 'Our Lady of Perpetual Paradox', a state-recognized religion with their own bizarre cosmology and rituals which provide Noise Complaint and MT Ultra with an extra layer of legal protection from the caprices of over-ambitious police and politicians. Our Lady of Perpetual Paradox will be performing baptisms in the Jacuzzi, and membership in their church is said to bestow strange powers, but at what cost???
