about

This Week's Friday night freakout features a special set from Missoula's synthesizer vanguard, Modular Haze. Noise Complaint and their affiliates are on temporarily thin ice at their home base of the Missoula Public Library for reasons which we are not supposed to describe to you, but we are dying to do so because its preposterous. In any case, Noise Complaint is taking a rare one week hiatus, fortifying their position, powdering up their rifles, and carefully memorizing all possible escape routes. In their absence, the airwaves of KFGM play host to a band that actually practices. Listeners of 101.5 FM should enjoy the rare foray into rehearsed and polished music, but are warned not to grow too comfortable; not only are the naughty Noise Complaint boys and girls returning presently, but Modular Haze has even graciously volunteered to adapt their style to the format, and will be punctuating their rehearsed works with longform improvisation and extended soundscapes. Trust us friends... Its going to get fucking WEIRD.

Modular Haze appears live from Toon Town Studios behind a secret wall in an undisclosed local business and is presented via remote broadcast technology from 8pm until ????.

After Modular Haze concludes, enjoy a special appearance by Missoula's most tenacious political dissident William Skink, who will be stopping by the studios of KFGM to share some of his rare and occult tomes gathered in his travels across the third dementia.
